What will happen if I artificially inflate streams?
Some services send us reports on tracks that have been played. The constant repetition of a track with the help of bots is considered cheating — cheating distorts the income of artists on streaming services, so the stores take this seriously.
If your track is suspected of cheating, the royalties for the hyped streams will be withheld by the stores. Spotify usually charges a fee if more than 90% of the track's streams have been hyped. If a fine comes for your track, we will deduct the amount of the fine from your royalties. In case of repeated violation, the track will be deleted from the music platforms.
